Description
Ludwigia palustris
Marsh seed box or water purslane, this plant is generally called, a semi aquatic or aquatic plant. Leaves are oppositely arranged on reddish brown stem and are oval in shape, but getting tapered at both ends. The green coloured leaves turn bronze green under submerged conditions and will become more attractive due to the wavy nature of leaf lamina in submerged conditions. Mid to background settings in the aquarium, both Nature and Dutch types, can make the waterscapes more natural. This plant is not so demanding, but not so fragile too.
