Vesicularia ferriei ” True Weeping Moss”[Tc]

A very beautiful moss because of its overhanging growth habit in submerged conditions. When arranged on a driftwood, densely branched frond with its strong overhanging tendency gives the appearance of weeping willow tree, hence called weeping moss. In emersed growth the long fronds stay upright. It is often mistaken for christmas moss (Vesicularia montagnei) but the latter one is totally different species.
