Bacopa Monnieri Platinum is a unique version of the popular Bacopa Monnieri plant used in aquariums.It’s harder to take care of because it doesn’t have the usual green color that helps it photosensitive from sunlight.You can put Bacopa Monnieri Platinum in the front part of your aquarium, but you need to look after it by trimming and taking care of it. When there’s not a lot of light, it might get long and thin as it reaches for the light. But if you give it strong light and good nutrients, it will stay short and the stems will spread out really close to the bottom of the tank, like a creeping plant. Just remember, this special plant needs a bit more attention than the regular green one.This hybrid plant is a very delicate and advanced plant. The lack of chlorophyll is what causes this plant to turn white. There is a possibility for this plant to revert back to green in some cases. When grown under strong lights, stable conditions and Co2 injection, this plant grows more compactly and will spread across the substrate in a carpet plant like fashion.Propagating this plant is easy just like any other stem plant, cut the tips, replant and watch them grow.
