Description
Bacopa salzmannii originates from Central and South America where it can be found on marsh land and the edges of rivers and ponds. It is smaller sized (about half the size) compared to Bacopa caroliniana and it comes in a couple of varietals.Bacopa Salzmannii is a fast-growing plant. It has deep foliage with a tint of red that makes it unique. The leaves grow alternately on long stems that are only 2-3 on each plant. The side of Bacopa stays small, not growing more than a few inches. The width of the stems is 2 inches. With its size, it can be categorized as a medium-sized plant. This plant also bears flowers that are pale violet-colored and tiny, blooming in summer and spring.
